Kling 3 Omni 4K API

Kling 3 Omni is the 4K-capable variant of Kuaishou's Kling 3.0 video generation family, released in February 2026 (known on the official platform as Kling O3). It generates native 4K at 3840×2160 and up to 60fps — full-resolution rendering rather than an upscale — with clips of 3–15 seconds and synchronized, lip-synced audio. The whole 3.0 generation processes text, image, audio, and video in one model instead of chaining separate tools, so a single prompt returns a finished clip with matching sound.

Switching from the Official Kling Open Platform

Moving an existing Kling integration to the Kling 3 Omni 4K API is a drop-in change, not a rewrite. The async request shape stays the same — submit a task, poll for the result; three things change:

1. Base URL — point requests at https://gptproto.com/api/v3/kling/kling-v3-omni-4k/{task}, then poll https://gptproto.com/api/v3/predictions/{id}/result.
2. Auth — use your single GPTProto key (Authorization: Bearer $GPTPROTO_API_KEY). The same key already works for every other model on your balance, so a multi-model pipeline drops one credential set.
3. Route — call the kling-v3-omni-4k route.

On the official platform, having credits is not the same as having API access — you also subscribe to a separate API plan in the developer console before the first call. Routing through GPTProto removes that step: top up one balance, generate a key, call any listed model. Working request/response code is in the Quick Start section above.

Multi-Shot at 4K

Multi-shot mode lets you describe several shots in one generation; the model returns them as one continuous 4K clip and handles the cuts internally. A common structure:

Per-shot prompts are capped (around 512 characters each), shot durations sum to the requested clip length, and negative prompts are accepted to exclude unwanted elements. Spatial continuity — location, character appearance, lighting — is held across cuts, which removes the generate-separately-then-stitch workflow earlier Kling versions required. Output stays at native 4K across all shots in the sequence.

Censorship & Use

The Kling 3 Omni route applies the model provider's standard content moderation. GPTProto passes requests to the official model, so the same safety checks apply — there is no separate unfiltered or NSFW build on the platform. For general developer use (advertising, product, social, narrative content) moderation rarely interferes; prompts involving real public figures, explicit content, or restricted categories may be rejected at generation time.
