Do all OpenAI models use the same endpoint and request format?

No. Text, image, video, audio, and embedding models use different request schemas and billing units. GPTProto exposes the native parameters supported by each listed model, so review its model page before integration.

Does GPTProto store API prompts, images, videos, or outputs?

GPTProto does not retain prompts, images, videos, or outputs submitted through API requests. Content created with GPTProto's online generation tools is retained so users can access it later.

Are failed, timed-out, or blocked requests charged?

No. Requests that fail, time out, or are blocked are not billed.

What happens if an upstream service becomes unavailable?

GPTProto automatically switches to another available route when the current upstream route is unavailable.
