About FLUX

FLUX is Black Forest Labs' model brand for generative visual media. The FLUX models collection on this page covers only the routes currently supported on GPTProto, not every model released by Black Forest Labs. The available FLUX.1 Kontext variants combine text-to-image generation with instruction-based editing, including targeted changes, style transformation, character preservation, and text replacement inside images. In official naming, FLUX.1 Kontext is the family, while [pro] and [max] identify different service tiers. GPTProto displays task-specific Model IDs for generation and editing, and the catalog updates as supported availability changes.

Why Use FLUX With GPTProto?

Use supported FLUX routes without managing a separate BFL balance or deploying model weights yourself.

Affordable FLUX Access

Compare live GPTProto rates with matched BFL list prices before choosing a route or starting production.

One Key, Shared Balance

Use the same GPTProto key and prepaid balance for FLUX and other supported image models.

Task-Specific Routes

Choose separate Model IDs for text-to-image generation and instruction-based editing, with parameters documented by route.

Hosted Kontext Access

Call supported proprietary Kontext tiers through hosted APIs without downloading or maintaining model weights.

How to Access FLUX Models

Get started with a FLUX API through GPTProto.

  1. 1

  2. 2

    Generate an API Key

Create a key in your dashboard and store it securely in your application or server environment.

  3. 3

    Call a FLUX Route

Open a live model card, copy its task-specific Model ID, and follow the linked route documentation for the correct request format.

FLUX API FAQ

Which FLUX models are available on GPTProto?

GPTProto supports the FLUX routes shown in the live catalog above. This page is not a complete list of every Black Forest Labs release, and availability may change as GPTProto updates its catalog.

Should I choose FLUX Kontext Pro or Max?

Choose FLUX Kontext Pro for affordable routine generation and iterative editing. Choose Max when typography, precise prompt adherence, or premium output quality is the deciding requirement. Compare current prices on the live cards.

Can the FLUX models on GPTProto generate and edit images?

Yes. The currently listed Kontext tiers support text-to-image generation and instruction-based image editing. Use the route-specific Model ID and request format shown in GPTProto's documentation.

Do I need a separate Black Forest Labs API key?

No. Use your GPTProto API key for the supported FLUX routes. The same GPTProto account and balance can also be used with other supported model providers.

How is FLUX API pricing calculated on GPTProto?

The live model cards show the current billing unit and price for each route. Check them before deployment because prices and billing units can change as model support changes.

Does GPTProto store FLUX API prompts, images, or outputs?

GPTProto processes API inputs and outputs to complete requests and may retain them briefly for transaction processing and error debugging. Technical usage metadata may also be logged. Data sent to an upstream model provider is subject to that provider's policies.

Can I use images generated with FLUX commercially?

As between you and GPTProto, you retain rights in your inputs and outputs, subject to the terms of the underlying model provider. Review the applicable provider license, GPTProto Terms, and acceptable-use rules for your selected route and use case.

What are the rate limits for FLUX routes?

Rate limits and concurrency can vary by model and route. Review the selected route documentation or confirm production limits with GPTProto support instead of relying on one provider-wide number.
